Farsi Program Overview

​The Farsi (Persian) language program at Roshd Academy is academically enriching and fun.  Our goal is to inspire a passion within our students for their language, culture, and ultimately celebrate their heritage.   Roshd Academy offers Farsi or Persian classes from Kindergarten-high school.  Students not only participate in the classroom, but have the opportunity to celebrate cultural events such as Jashn-e-Mehregan, Yalda, and Nowrooz.  Students at Roshd really enjoy these Persian celebrations where they get a chance to perform by speaking in Farsi through plays, poems, songs, and original written pieces. The teacher to student ratio in our Farsi school is 1:10. One to one Persian tutoring sessions are available at an additional charge and must be scheduled by appointment.

Registration

We are excited for another amazing school year at Roshd Academy! The first day of Farsi classes will begin on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Registration will be ongoing through September, but spots are limited so register soon! Students joining our Farsi classes after September are added on a case by case basis only.

Schedule

Farsi language classes are conducted from 10-12:30pm every Saturday beginning each Fall.   Each year, with the help of volunteer parents, our school hosts events such as Fall Festival, Yalda Festival, Nowrooz Festival and more.  The full calendar is available at the time of in-person registration.
