Program Overview

We are proud to provide Ethics classes since 2004 for grades KG-High school and now offer online college level courses as well. The goal of this program has always been to provide students of Muslim and cultural decent living and growing up in the West, an insight and overview into studies of Ethics with emphasis on respect, honesty, and integrity.  These courses include engaging lessons in history, Quranic studies, and Akhlaq.  In addition to our stellar curriculum, our program goes above and beyond by providing students experiences outside the classroom as much as possible.   Our teachers take advantage of the proximity of our school to the Washington D.C. area by taking students on field trips such as nature hikes, museums, bowling, go-carting, auto shows, and more where students get a chance to develop a relationship outside the classroom with their teachers and peers.  Through this, we hope to create a community of learners who can grow from one another with proper mentorship and role models.

Class Information

K-8th Grade
Our Ethics classes are offered on Saturday afternoons from 1-3pm.  Our K-8th grade students are tested at the beginning of the year and placed in the appropriate class based on their age and academic level.  Afternoon classes always include fun games, activities, and discussions which are key for student engagement.  Students often work on plays, give presentations, and do projects reflecting upon what they have learned.   Our goal in this age group is to create an experience that is fun and engaging so students have a positive outlook on their beliefs and are proud of who they are as Muslims.  We provide a professional staff who have both experience in youth education and enjoy teaching this age group.
High School - College
This program is designed to enrich students who feel the need to enhance their core understanding of faith and strengthen their foundations.  This will allow them the ability to think critically and reference the proper tools and resources needed to make educated decisions throughout their lives.  We take pride in providing a diverse staff including instructors who have been raised in the West.  This allows for a unique relationship between students and their teachers who serve as guides and mentors.  Ultimately, h
aving faced similar challenges in their experiences, mentors and students are able to make a unique bond.  Courses are offered both in-person on Saturdays and online to allow for a diverse selection of classes, topics, and guest speakers.
