Mission Statement
To provide a high quality, enriching, and educational experience in a friendly, nourishing, and diverse environment. We strive to instill a love of Farsi or Persian language, culture, and people to students of ages 4-18. In turn, students learn to connect with their elders, respect other cultures, and enrich their own lives in many dimensions. Through this, we hope to attain learners who are diverse in experiences, open minded, and who will ultimately make the world a better place.
History
Roshd Academy is a private, educational institution formed in 2004. Since then, Roshd Academy has become the leading Farsi language institute in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area offering accredited language courses catered to children from K-12. Separately, in the afternoon from 1-3pm, a unique Ethics program is offered which focuses on character building, manners, and a foundational understanding in faith and identity.

Class Schedule
Part 1 of our program includes Farsi language and is held in the morning every Saturday from 10am-12:30pm. Currently, we cater to Pre-K-high school levels.
Part 2 of Roshd Academy is the Akhlaq and Ethics program held on Saturday afternoons from 1pm-3pm. Additional online courses are also offered for high school and college level students.
Our program also includes tutoring for students who prefer one on one dedicated time with a native speaker.

Location
Roshd Academy classes are held at Meridian High School in Falls Church, VA. The school is located on Route 7 right next to the West Falls Church Metro Station. We take pride in being able to use the facility and all of the amenities it has to offer such as multiple basketball courts, full size soccer field, numerous playgrounds, cafeteria, and an auditorium in which we host multiple events throughout the year including our graduation ceremonies.
