Farsi Program Overview

​The Farsi language program at Roshd Academy is academically enriching and fun.  Our goal is to inspire a passion within our students for their language, culture, and ultimately celebrate their heritage.   Roshd Academy offers classes from Kindergarten-high school.  Students not only participate in the classroom, but have the opportunity to celebrate cultural events such as Jashn-e-Mehregan, Yalda, and Nowrooz.  Students at Roshd really enjoy these celebrations where they get a chance to perform in their mother language through plays, poems, songs, and original written pieces. Teacher to student ratio is 1:10. Tutoring sessions are available at an additional charge and must be scheduled by appointment.

Registration

We are excited for another amazing school year at Roshd Academy! In person classes will be offered this year with all Covid-19 precautions taken into account. School will start on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Registration will be ongoing through September, but spots are limited so register soon. Students joining after September are added on a case by case basis only.

Schedule

Farsi language classes are conducted from 10-12:30pm every Saturday beginning Saturdays September 18, 2021 - May 21, 2022.

Covid-19 Precautions

Nurses will be available to take temperatures, disinfect surfaces before school begins, and ensure proper hygiene is being implemented throughout the school day.  Everyone is required to wear a mask during school hours.  Masks breaks and hand washing will be incorporated into the schedule as well.  Weather permitting, classes may be held outside at the discretion of the teacher.
